Angel Customers – A New Breed of Investors?

leave a comment »

Angel Customer – An individual customer or a client of a product or a service who invests his or her own money into the startup providing those services.

Sounds crazy? It shouldn’t.

Just think about it. How good would you think a product or service must be if one or more customers using it is willing to invest his/her money into the company behind it.

Darn good! I personally would atleast think so.

Such an act is definitely an excellent form of attestation to the product/service and would stand as a great testimony beyond doubt.

Still think I’m crazy? ;-) Check this out – WhyPark.com says it raised US$230K in angel funding from one of its customers – an investor and domainer named Alan Macomber.

Do we have any “Angel Readers” on Startups ? If yes, let’s talk ;-) We’d love to have you join our bandwagon.
